Our omega-3 products are sourced from the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador and 100% made in Canada.

Where do you ship from? 
We ship from our warehouse in Ottawa.

What countries do you ship to? 
We currently ship worldwide except the United States of America and the European Union. If there are issues with shipping to your country and the product cannot be delivered, we will refund the purchase.

How long will it take to receive my order? 
We usually ship within 48 hours after receiving your order. Delivery times vary by location. Expedited shipping options are available at check out.

How can I return or get a refund?

What is the expiration date of the products? 
You are guaranteed to receive products with shelf life greater than 12 months unless otherwise specified. If purchasing large quantities and need more distant expiration dates, please let us know so we can check our inventory.

Are your products approved by Health Canada? 
Yes, Gateway is a licensed natural health product. Our quality and safety standards exceed those of Health Canada.

Is omega-3 safe for children? 
Yes. Countless studies have shown that omega-3 can improve mental and mood disorders like ADHD. Some studies from the United Kingdom have demonstrated that omega-3 can improve focus in class and, as a result, improve grades.

Is omega-3 safe for pregnant women or breastfeeding? 
Yes. There are studies that show that it is in fact beneficial for pregnant women to take omega-3.  Please consult with your doctor before making any dietary changes.

Can I take seal oil if I am allergic to fish or shellfish? 
Gateway omega-3 should not cause any allergic reaction because it does not contain seal or fish protein, which are the main sources of seafood allergies. As always, consult a doctor before making any dietary changes.

Is the seal harvest humane? 
Yes, Gateway’s supplier is fully licensed by Canadian provincial and federal authorities in  order to achieve the best standards of production. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) commissioned a large study involving doctors, veterinarians, and scientists to determine if the harvest was humane. They discovered that over 97% of seals are culled in a humane fashion.

Isn’t fish oil a safe and effective source of omega-3? 
No. Fish oil contains only DHA and EPA, which means it is an incomplete source of Omega-3. Also, many fish oils go through a process of chemical alteration, which means the product is no longer natural.

Why should I take Gateway omega-3? 
Gateway omega-3 is a complete source of omega-3. Each capsule contains DPA, DHA and EPA in balanced levels that are chemically similar to omega-3 found in the human body. This allows for better absorption of our product.
